I Made It! Market has April showered with events (horrible pun, I know..sorry). The month kicks off this Saturday the 2nd at The Glass Lofts in Garfield as part of the GA/GI festival. Come check out awesome handmade wares from local artisans, including us! We’ll be there as our alter egos, Cenzo Design, at the events on the 2nd and 16th. I just started reading through my new ReadyMade magazine that arrived in the mail yesterday and lo and behold, there is a whole page piece on page 28 about Pittsburgh (complete with the illustration above). Just got back inside from checking out the SuperMoon hanging over Pittsburgh right now. Yeah..it’s pretty darn full. Gorgeous. I took some photos and I’m still seeing the moon in my vision. It’s like staring into a spotlight. Continue reading

Probably not a very hard marketing decision to make (and a very wise one considering the product), the manufacturer of the Ben Roethlisberger brand of beef jerky decided to pull the product today. PLB Sports, based in Pittsburgh, canceled Ben’s contract and will be pulling and disposing of all remaining packages of the product. Continue reading
Already beleaguered by it’s roof collapse from Snowmageddon , The abandoned Neville Ice Arena in the South Side met it’s final demise early Sunday morning as a 3-alarm fire broke out around 2:30 am. We walked up the street Sunday to check out the damage, and it’s safe to say that it’s well beyond any chance of future development now. It was already a mess from years of use from squatters, drug dealers, graffiti artists and vandals. It’s a shame that what was once the Pittsburgh Penguins old practice facility is now nothing more than rubble. Hopefully the city can now turn it into a park or something useful. Continue reading
