Rodrigo y Gabriela

I was excited to learn today that Rodrigo y Gabriela will be making a stop in Pittsburgh at the Byham Theater on March 2nd.

The Mexican guitar duo originally gained notoriety in Dublin, Ireland, oddly enough, playing local pubs and have since been catapulted to international fanfare. I think their style of music can best be described as an infusion of rock, mariachi, and flamenco rhythms which is simple and straight-forward, yet captivating. I can’t imagine someone attending this show and not have a feeling of wanting to just jump out of their seat and dance. I’ve been a huge lover of music my whole life, and I’m still amazed at the amount of energy and life the right solo or duo act can bring with just one or two instruments. Definitely a show worth checking out.

Tickets are $42.50 and pre-sale begins January 12th. Use promotional code RYG to order your pre-sale tickets before they go on sale to the public Friday, January 15!
