We unfortunately took way too many pictures to post, but here is a small glimpse of last night’s Sprout Fund Hot House Benefit at the new Bakery Square development in East Liberty. I think I spent as much time snapping photos as I did enjoying the event. Other than waiting 45 minutes in line to get drinks (we unknowingly picked the slowest bartender) the night and the event were wonderful. Having an indoor/outdoor event was great, and luckily the weather cooperated. It was nice to meet up with friends and make some new ones too, all while benefiting a great local arts organization.
And those of you that also made it to the afterparty at Shadow Lounge enjoyed an extended evening of great music and dancing. It was nice to see the sidewalks overflowing with people and the dance floor packed as could be. And the chicken and waffles we had from the Waffle Shop next door definitely polished off the evening. If you didn’t make it out to the event, hopefully you’ll consider it next year!
